Happy As A Clam

My sister and her husband were supposed to be in Honduras right now on a vacation, but had to cancel because of bad weather and losing their connecting flight out of Atlanta. I guess there's only one flight that goes out on Saturday to their final destination so if they couldn't get to Atlanta on Saturday, they'd have to wait another week. Since that wasn't going to work, they're stuck at home in upstate New York. I'm posting this card before I send it to her as a "thinking of you" offering. I know they were disappointed but because of back surgery she wasn't going to be able to get into the water anyway, so this is probably for the best.

This card was really cute! First, the clams were stamped on Glossy cardstock, colored in with markers and then punched out and matted on black cardstock. The Sandy Shells wheel was used to make the background design. 2-way glue was used on some of the sand areas along with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, for that "fun in the sun" look.

Recipe:
Stamp sets: Crab & Co., Sandy Shells Wheel, Many Happy Returns
Card stock: Glossy White, Sahara Sand, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Markers: Creamy Caramel, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Word Window and 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
