Mother's Day Dress

This is a beautiful card that I found on Splitcoast and CASE’d. You can find the card here. I had intended that it be used as a Mother’s Day card but then realized that it could be used for a birthday or any day card also. It certainly is getting me in the mood for Spring!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Blooming with Happiness
Paper: Shimmer White, Pixie Pink, Lavender Lace
Ink: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Lovely Lilac markers, black StazOn.
Accessories: Mega circle and scalloped punch, paper flowers from Hero Arts, yellow brad, lilac SU! organdy ribbon (ret.), Cuttlebug folder "Stylized Flowers" dimensionals.

I stamped the dress using the StazOn ink and then colored in with markers. I then punched out the dress using the mega scalloped punch and then the mega circle in lilac as a background. I ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug machine using the Stylized Flowers folder. The lilac band was made by cutting a strip of card stock just slightly larger than the width of the organdy ribbon. This was a pretty simple card to make, the part that took the longest was coloring in the skirt of the dress!
